"...what are the measurements of the (size) shirts?"
Available T-shirts sizes are aproximately as follows.
| XS | 32 - 34 |
| S | 34 - 36 |
| M | 38-40 |
| L | 40-42 |
| XL | 42-44 |
"How are they (shirts) printed?"
Like the originals each shirt is different. Shirts are hand printed in layers using water based inks.
What this means is each screen (colour) is printed separately, in full, with each layer printed over (often showing through) the previous one.
This differs from some other reproductions which include:
shirts that use plastic transfers (not layered)
shirts where the prints are not layered (blank spaces where each colour is to be printed instead of printing over the layer beneath)
shirts using Plastisol inks (or other not water based inks) these inks are recogniseable for the shiny finish they have. Printed ontop of the shirts this ink does not soak into/through the shirt as water based inks do and may crack over time.
"...are they (Cheesecloths) the same as the originals?"
Some are, Yes and no...
There were variations of Seditionaries patterns and they were all on the whole small. Of the [CX3] shirts only the small shirt uses a Seditionaries pattern. The other sizes are modified (for size) Seditionaries patterns or hybrids of a Seditionaries patterns and the larger Boy patterns. Otherwise like the originals the seams on the body and arms are inside out, with velcro on the shoulder straps and D-Rings on shoulders and arms and dog-clips on the cuffs.
In adition [CX3] shirts are less stingy with the velcro and are made stronger with double stitching and locked internal seams where the seditionaries were single stitched.
"Do you make shirts with the Personal or Exclusive Collection labels?"
Never. The Anarchy label although identified with Seditionaries, does not name the shirt as being of anyone's collection.
The Personal and Exclusive Collection labels do. [CX3] shirts are reproductions. They are not made by Vivienne Westwood or Malcom Mclaren and so will not be identify as such. Anarchy labels on the other hand are just well good and fun. We'll stick them on anything from reproductions to reconditioned gear to envelopes or what ever else is handy when the mood strikes.
"can I get ---- (print design) on a Cheesecloth not a T-shirt?"
Although some prints are pictured only on T-shirts or only on Cheesecloths, any print listed as available can be had on either a Cheesecloth or T-shirt unless otherwise specified. The same generally applies to the colour cheesecloth / t-hirt you want it printed on though that may require printing in different colours.
"If I win an auction can I get a different (size/colour) shirt?"
No. Orders are made up when they are recieved while items listed on ebay or other auction sites have already been made. Any auction pictures show the acctual item that will be sent out.
"What are reconditioned clothes?"
Reconditioned clothes are either new or used clothes that have been altered. Printed on, Zips, D-rings, Clips or straps added added etc.
"What does 'by request' mean (when clothes are listed as)?"
Some clothes (items) are specially made up and/or may not allways be available or only in limited quantities etc. If you are interested in anything listed as 'on request' you will need to email over availability.
"How do I order...?"
Eventually online order procesing will be available through this site, but for the present you can order online with Pay Pal, or send an email to make other arrangements (Money Orders, Cheques, Bank Drafts, Travellers Cheques, Trades etc.)
"Do you Accept Credit Cards?"
Only through Pay Pal. In the past had phone/email orders processed through another company but after charge back was made and over $500 lost that stopped. Once the investigation into that is done you can expect to see the details, names and addresses of those who ordered, who charged back and where the order was sent, published here together with what is believed to be a second attempt to do the same using a different name/card.
"How do Trades work...?"
If you have something you want to trade send a list of what you've got and what you want for it... Click for more info
